Dear, Beloved Negativity (and you too, Critical Voice),

You break me down on days when I need me the most.

You must understand that I must rebel against you as an act of self-love. I will say no to you, just as Neo does in The Matrix, facing the bullets. The bullets fall, defeated in their goal. In the same way, you are defeated as I say “No,” to you.

On other days, I will break your stronghold by smiling a bright, beauty of  a smile. I will jump up and down a dozen times and sing out loud. I’ll eat carrot sticks and drink green smoothies!

Do you see where I’m going with this?

I’ll engage in deep, thoughtful conversations with my partners in life, my family, and even strangers. We’ll talk about the things that matter – the things that move us to remember that we are not lost, but in the process of unfolding in the Universe Story. And we’ll celebrate! Hurrah!

You see, Negativity, it’s not you… it’s me. I am a rebel, and I need to be free to love what I do, when I do it and how I do it.  This is my life, and you and I must part ways.

Because honestly.. I’m just not that into you.

Much love and many blessings.
